Join us on a journey to discover one of Spain’s most captivating landscapes with our excursion to the Albufera Natural Park of Valencia. This natural marvel boasts a mosaic of forests, rice fields, and lakes, offering a unique day out by the Mediterranean. Are you ready?
ITINERARY:
- We’ll pick you up from the designated meeting point in Valencia at the scheduled time and head towards the Albufera Natural Park, located just 10 kilometers from the city center.
- Did you know it’s Spain’s largest lake? Our first stop will be at El Saler, where you’ll admire its untouched dunes and marvel at the native flora, along with panoramic views of its beach and the Mediterranean Sea.
- Next, we’ll continue the tour, enjoying a magnificent panoramic view from the Puchol Gola pier as we delve into the peculiarities of this Mediterranean ecosystem.
- Finally, we’ll make our way to El Palmar. This island in the Albufera encapsulates the fishing essence that has characterized this area of Valencia throughout history. It’s home to 18th-century buildings! We’ll stroll through its streets and landmarks and embark on a boat ride to admire the charms of the area from a fresh perspective. This journey will last between 15 and 20 minutes and include four stops.
- Lastly, we’ll return to Valencia, or you can opt to stay in the area and indulge in a delicious paella on your own. We’ll arrive back at the starting point after a total of four hours of activity.
BOAT RIDE:
A minimum of four people is required for the boat ride through the Albufera.
