TOUR VALENCIA + PAELLA

Explore the Historic Center of Valencia and Indulge in a Traditional Paella Lunch: Guided Tour

ITINERARY:

  • We’ll meet at 11:30 a.m. in the historic center of Valencia, specifically at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, one of the city’s nerve centers.
  • From this central location, we’ll venture to the Central Market and the Silk Exchange, two 15th-century buildings renowned for their Gothic architecture. Next, we’ll stroll to Plaza de Manises to admire the building of the Valencian Government, and a couple of streets further, the famous Torres de Serranos, one of the main entrances to the city during the Middle Ages.
  • Our guided tour continues as we walk alongside the former Turia Riverbed, now transformed into an extensive park teeming with greenery, sports facilities, and entertainment areas for visitors. We’ll then return to the city center to admire Plaza de la Virgen, Valencia Cathedral, the Archaeological Museum of La Almoina, and the Basilica of Our Lady of the Forsaken.
  • From the latter, we’ll walk to the tower of the Church of Santa Catalina, where our guided tour will conclude at 2:00 p.m.

A tour of Valencia wouldn’t be complete without savoring one of Spain’s most characteristic dishes: Valencian paella. After the guided tour, we’ll accompany you to a local restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious paella prepared in the traditional style, accompanied by wine or water. Bon appétit!
